My 5x Gr-Grandfather was born in County Tyrone in 1746, so they left Ireland between these two years. I would like to know whether this book identifies sources of information prior to 1800. I have found that this early information is scarce, but if this book has such information or lists sources for early records, I would like to buy a copy. May also be worth checking if Global genealogy stocks NIFHS publication?

To Anonymous, you are of course correct, and so I have changed it to Northern Ireland. Fortunately what I lack in geographical skills I more than make up for with common courtesy (highly recommended!), and so I will simply thank you for your contribution and wish you a pleasant day! :)Chris Patonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05073425769475523109noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-434701420960162731.post-15542572589924869012015-04-21T10:14:35.440+01:002015-04-21T10:14:35.440+01:00If your knowledge of history is on a par with your...If your knowledge of history is on a par with your geography you are a charletan Chris Paton..... unless some quirk of nature has caused Donegal to shrink by nearly 2,000 sq kms overnight, it remains the largest county in Ulster.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-434701420960162731.post-50294025203113026602015-04-21T03:30:18.128+01:002015-04-21T03:30:18.128+01:00And getting a copy in Canada-?
