Ancestry adds Dublin probate records

Ancestry (www.ancestry.co.uk) has added a new Irish collection, Dublin, Ireland, Probate Record and Marriage Licence Index, 1270-1858, searchable at http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/db.aspx?dbid=2719.

It has also announced updates to its 1841/1851 Irish census collections (mainly drawn from copies made for state pension applications from 1908 onwards), and to its 1851 Counties Antrim and Cork census listings. As is usually the case with the site's updates though, there is no information available on what has actually been changed or what the additions might be.
