British GENES Irish probate calendars guide

I am giving a talk in Blantyre on Saturday about researching Irish family history online and whilst updating the powerpoint presentation I realised it would take forever to explain the changes to the new National Archives of Ireland catalogue and how to access the Irish calendars through it for the period from 1923-1984.

I have blogged about this before, and previously provided a user guide on the new catalogue, as well as a separate post providing direct links to the individual PDF files for each years of calendar entries. To make these posts easier to access (having been the most read items on this blog since it started), I have now consolidated them into a single user guide which can be accessed via a new tab at the top of this page - another great reason to bookmark this blog or to subscribe!
