National Records of Scotland site tweaked

The National Records of Scotland has slightly revamped its gateway portal site at www.nrscotland.gov.uk, essentially to carry its new logo (as revealed on this blog last Friday).

The news section of the site however reveals that a new integrated website for the former National Archives of Scotland and General Register Office for Scotland, which merged last year, will be formally rolled out later in 2012. Until then, the NRS portal site provides links to the still existent sites of the NAS and the GROS, both of which can be accessed at www.gro-scotland.gov.uk and www.nas.gov.uk, as well as the body's latest news. The ScotlandsPeople Centre is also available via www.scotlandspeoplehub.gov.uk.
