Lanarkshire FHS finds new premises

Lanarkshire Family History Society (www.lanarkshirefhs.org.uk) has secured new premises, following news of it being asked by the local council in April to vacate its current premises in Motherwell (see http://britishgenes.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/lanarkshire-fhs-seeks-new-home.html). An appeal brought several offers of help, but it appears that the council itself has now helped the society, with new premises in Merry Street.
