Major UK history publisher Pen and Sword Books (www.pen-and-sword.co.uk) is launching a new social history imprint. The imprint will cover a wide range of historical periods and topics, focusing, although not exclusively, on British social history. We are looking for titles that bring history to life, and reveal the experiences of ordinary people, as well as more unusual stories.
If you have an idea for a social history title that you would like to submit for consideration, then we would be happy to hear from you. Please send a synopsis of 300-500 words, along with a short summary of previous writing experience and published work. ReplyDeleteIs there a book on the weavers? and also would like to see one about Ayshire, particularly Largs area.
I have not been able to find any substantial information about Largs area, do you have any suggestions, or perhaps a new book by you?????
