1921 Canadian Census to be released at long last

Ancestry in Canada (www.ancestry.ca) will be releasing the Canadian 1921 census tomorrow (Thursday) at 2pm Eastern Time. The geographic index will only be available to start with, though a full nominal index is on the cards.

It's been a bit of a saga for those waiting for the census to be released online, it having been all dressed up with nowhere to go for several weeks. Last year I discovered three hitherto unknown first cousins of my grandmother had emigrated to Kenora, Ontario, in the early 1900s. One tragically died fighting with the CEF - looking forward to seeing what became of the other two.
