Google Cultural Institute partnership

The NLI is the the first Irish cultural institution to partner with Google Cultural Institute, with photographs from three of the institution's exhibitions available to consult online at www.google.com/culturalinstitute/collection/national-library-of-ireland. These are:

• Witness to War (Dec 1919-Aug 1922)
• Dubliners: The Photographs of JJ Clarke (1897-1904)
• Power and Privilege: The Big House in Ireland (1858-1922)

New Exhibition: Working Lives 1893-1913
National Photographic Archive (NPA), Temple Bar
October 2013 until May 2014

Travel back in time go behind the scenes and delve into the NPAs’ unique photographic collections to catch a glimpse of the day-to-day life of industrial workers in Ireland over one hundred years ago. Admission is Free

Dublin Lockout Open every day at 2 Kildare Street

This exhibition draws upon our extensive historical and literary collections - with original documents alongside multimedia presentations - to explore the largest industrial conflict in Irish history.
