Caerphilly civil registration records indexes online

Caerphilly County Borough Council's registration service has placed a new facility online granting free access to historical indexes for civil registered births, marriages and deaths for the region. The coverage available is currently as follows:

• Births 1837-1920, and 1998-March 2007
• Marriages 1837-2011
• Deaths 1998-March 2007

To access the new index service visit www.caerphilly.gov.uk/application.aspx?s=kfGdY1t/+m+cQdIRzQjGoWxgMn3XbV8Lkkr/4IzmGN4l37K77Ct+Og==. Copies of historic certificates can be purchased from the registrar for £10 each.
