Glasgow University archive celebrates its First World War collections

Glasgow University Archive Services has published, via Storify, a series of images and tweets concerning its participation in an International Archives Day First World War event on June 10th. Its most popular tweet on the day was one depicting an image of a tank erecting shop at William Beardmore & Co Ltd, but other popular tweets included images of women workers at Tennent's factory in 1916, the Scottish Women's Hospital, university chaplaincy records used to compile a roll of honour, and much more.

The Storify link is at https://storify.com/GUArchives/ww1archives, whilst a blog post on the day's event is also available at http://universityofglasgowlibrary.wordpress.com/2014/06/13/ww1archives/.
