TNA podcast - Sylvia Pankhurst

If you haveen't yet heard it, the National Archives in England (www.nationalarchives.gov.uk) has a podcast online entitled Sylvia Pankhurst: suffragette, socialist and ‘scourge of the empire’, a recording of just under 40 minutes of a talk given by Katherine Connelly. Here's the blurb:

From militant suffragette at the beginning of the 20th century to campaigner against colonialism in Africa after the Second World War, Sylvia Pankhurst dedicated her life to fighting oppression and injustice.

Katherine Connelly will examine Pankhurst’s role at the forefront of significant developments in the history of radical politics.
