IrishGenealogy extends civil registration records collection

The Irish Government's Irish Genealogy platform (www.irishgenealogy.ie) has today extended its coverage for the free historic civil registration records that it offers. The following records are now available:

Births: 1864 to 1918
Marriages: 1864 to 1943
Deaths: 1878 to 1968

The key additions are the two most recent years for each, as well as an extension of historic marriage records to now include records from 1864-1869.

The records still missing, and waiting to be added, are as follows:

Marriages: 1845-1863
Deaths: 1864-1877.

Images of the missing records within this period for Northern Ireland are currently available on the pay-per-view website https://geni.nidirect.gov.uk.

FamilySearch's Ireland Marriages, 1619-1898 database also includes partial civil marriage transcriptions from 1845-1870, at https://www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1584964.
