Ancestry sale temporarily held up

The $1.6 billion sale of Ancestry.com to London based private equity firm Permira has been temporarily blocked by a court in Delaware after a five hour hearing, with the judge ruling that Ancestry's shareholders must be given more information on the proposed sale before they meet on December 27th. Ancestry maintains the meeting will still happen on that date, with the judge's concerns addressed in time.
