From the Ulster Historical Foundation:
Return to the Cradle of Irish Presbyterianism
The Foundation is pleased to announce Return to the Cradle of Irish Presbyterianism which will run from 16-21 September, 2013. This is the most ambitious family history conference hosted by the Foundation in years and will mark the significant 400th anniversary of the arrival of Presbyterianism into Ireland from Scotland. It is ideally suited to the many who wish to learn more about their Irish Presbyterian ancestors and of the impact of Presbyterians on the history of Ireland over four centuries. The conference programme is extensive and varied and will include tours, personal research opportunities and talks by leading authorities on the history of Irish Presbyterianism.
The importance of the anniversary and the nature of the conference are such that we anticipate that demand for places will be high. For further details and to make a reservation please visit www.ancestryireland.com/irish-presbyterianism.
(With thanks to the UHF)
