A new genealogical gateway site was launched in June 2012 which I've only come across today via Twitter. Called Forebears.co.uk (www.forebears.co.uk) it provides access to resources listed for the whole of Britain and the Crown dependencies of the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands, though not Ireland.
Well worth a look.
