I've just picked up from Claire Santry's Irish Genealogy News blog that three years worth of Dublin electoral registers are now available online at http://www.dublinheritage.ie/burgesses/index.php for the years 1908-1910. The full set of records from 1898-1916 is the end goal being aimed for, and access if free.
Claire's post is at http://irish-genealogy-news.blogspot.ca/2014/05/1908-to-1910-dublin-city-electoral.html
(With thanks to Claire Santry)

Now available for UK research is the new second edition of the best selling Tracing Your Family History on the Internet: A Guide for Family Historians. And for those wishing to take Scottish ancestral research a bit further, my next Pharos course, Scotland 1750-1850: Beyond the Old Parish Records, commences May 14th 2014.
The GENES Blog (GEnealogy News and EventS) ceased publication on 14 FEB 2020. You will now find all the latest genealogy news and views on Scottish GENES at https://scottishgenes.blogspot.com. The GENES Blog archive will remain live, with a record of the genealogy news for Britain and Ireland from 2013-2020. Thank you!
Hi Chris,
ReplyDeletehttp://www.dublinheritage.ie/burgesses/index.php
Can you please take the hyperlink off the bit that says"for the years 1908-1910"
The link up to .php works fine.
Thanks - corrected.
