From Eneclann (www.eneclann.ie):
This August and September at the National Library of Ireland, Eneclann and Ancestor Network bring you the best of Irish cultural, family and social history related talks, with the return of the Family History lunch-time talks.
Fiona Fitzsimons,(Eneclann) organiser of the lecture series said, “We are delighted to welcome the return of the Lunch-time talks at the National Library in 2015. Family History draws on many different areas of study: genetics, history, archaeology, and fashion, to name but a few. In the course of my research, I’ve drawn on the knowledge of some of the foremost experts. This Summer, I’ve invited some of my professional colleagues, here to the Library, to inform and entertain.”
Each talk is a short introduction to a key area, source or research method in Irish family history. The Q&A session will give you direct access to the experts. We want to take the mystery out of family history!
The Summer Talks at lunchtime will take place from 1-2pm every Tuesday and Thursday in August & September. This is the 4th year of this successful talks series.
