I hope that someone will recognize these names and post some information. I was born during the 2nd World War and grew up knowing that my mother's close friend/cousin was lost in action in 1942 over the North Atlantic. The WWII casualty records recently became available. I was able to obtain my mother's cousin's service records, including a letter that he wrote to his parents just before he left on his last mission (the one that he did not return from). In a series of Google searches I was able to find a lot of information about this mission. It was very humbling for me to be able to read this information and I wish that the older members of my family had been able so see this information.
