The Ulster Historical Foundation, has announced (via its newsletter) that it will soon be uploading more than 27,000 records from Church of Ireland burial and marriage registers in Counties Antrim and Down.
The earliest records will be from the 1660s from Blaris (Lisburn) CI and from the 1680s from Comber CI, as well as records records from the 1700s from Ardkeen, Carrickfergus, Donaghadee, Down, Dromore, Glenavy, Magheralin, Aghalee, Ballinderry, Ballyclug, Ballyculter, Ballyhalbert, Ballymacarrett, Ballymena, Ballymoney, Ballyphilip, Bangor, Drumballyroney, Finvoy, Larne, Kilkeel and Kilmore. The records are being transcribed Emeritus Research Director Dr Trainor, and will be made available at www.ancestryireland.com/search-irish-genealogy-databases/.
