Friends Reunited relaunch

The social media site Friends Reunited (www.friendsreunited.co.uk), sister site to Genes Reunited (www.genesreunited.co.uk), is getting a facelift and something of a more genealogical purpose, being restyled as a memories site 12 years after it was first launched, rather than just as a simple bridge to old friends from school.

The Telegraph has an article on the new site, including an interview with Chris van der Kuyl, Brightsolid's head honcho, which also includes some of his thoughts on Facebook's privacy policy. The piece can be read at www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/social-media/9153277/Friends-Reunited-can-survive-in-a-Facebook-world.html.
