National Archives community trial

From the latest National Archives (www.nationalarchives.gov.uk) newsletter:

We need your help to trial an online community to see if it could help us to develop and improve our online services. We’ll be using the community to get feedback on new features and functions we’re developing, as well as creating a space for generating new ideas.

As a test we will be controlling the number of people who can sign up, so to start with we only need 100 volunteers who will be signed up on a first come, first served basis. We will also keep the community closed so that only members can view and interact with the content. If you are not selected for the initial trial, you’ll be able to join our waiting list – we’ll then notify you if we decide to expand the community and increase the number of members.

The trial will run for six months between March and August 2012. If we then decide that the trial has been successful, we will aim to establish a permanent community as part of our package of online services.
If you would like to take part in the pilot please register your interest here.
