Further news on Irish calendars

I've just been informed that FamilySearch (www.familysearch.org) is indexing the digitised calendars for the whole of Ireland from 1858-1920 - more information in the comments section beneath http://britishgenes.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/southern-irish-probate-calendars-direct.html

(With thanks to Anonymous!)

UPDATE: Thanks to Jack Murphy for the following comment:

The project by FamilySearch to index the will and administration calendars from 1858 held by the National Archives of Ireland is most welcome, but has been known about in Ireland for sometime now. The project has just taken a little time though to kick-start... Catriona Crowe, Senior Archivist at the National Archives of Ireland, has made getting digital images of key records series onto the Net one of her main priorities. We all owe her a great debt of gratitude.

Indeed!
