Indonesian newspaper available on TROVE

The National Library of Australia has announced that the Embassy of Indonesia in Canberra has funded the digitisation of the Berita Repoeblik Indonesia newspaper, which marked the formation of the newly independent Indonesia in 1945.

Newspaper additions to Australia's TROVE and NLA

Readers in Australia may beinterested to note that the English language newspaper the Japan Chronicle is now accessible through the National Library of Australia's e-resources, via http://www.nla.gov.au/app/eresources/item/4618. The coverage for the tite is from 1902-1940.

TROVE adds more Oz newspapers

The Australian based TROVE website from the National Library of Australia has added a significant amount of new digitised newspaper titles to its already impressive and free to access database at http://trove.nla.gov.au/newspaper.
