Forthcoming National Library of Scotland events

Two forthcoming events at the National Library of Scotland (www.nls.uk) that may be of interest to those getting under way with family history research:

JUNE EVENT
Behind the scenes tour
Only a few places left!
Join us for a behind the scenes tour of the Library and learn more about the Library's Polish collections.

The tour includes a visit to the reading rooms and to one of the stack floors where we store some of our 16 million print items. There will also be a small display showcasing the range of Polish material we hold in our collections.

WORKSHOP
Discovering family history
Thursday 10 July, 10 am

Find out about the range of resources that the Library holds to help you with your family history research.

The workshop includes some practical information on how to become a reader and using the reading rooms.
