CWGC Battle of the Somme web pages

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission has a new dedicated page for the Battle of the Somme centenary commemorations, located at http://www.cwgc.org/the-somme.aspx.

Amongst the many useful pages are a Home page describing each of the key battles that took place between July and November 1916, and a Visitors Guide, providing on a daily basis for the period various details from the original battle, such as the weather, the temperature, the number of men missing that day, and the total commemorated losses each day. A short summary of that day's action is also presented, with a suggested cemetery to visit that is most relevant for the day's events. Elsewhere on the site is a handy interactive cemetery map, and a FAQs page.
