The Paton family returns to Edinburgh Castle!

Proud dad today!

My son Jamie is a tenor drummer with Largs Boys Brigade Pipe Band. Today they were invited, along with five other bands, to perform in Edinburgh, initially outside St. Giles Cathedral, and then outside Edinburgh Castle on the esplanade.

Family history note - Jamie's the first member of my Paton family to march in and out of the castle in a kilt since his five times great grandfather William Paton was stationed there in 1797 with the second battalion of Breadalbane's Fencibles!

Enjoy! (Also at https://youtu.be/HVZjW6jcqhg)
