New Glasgow themed genealogy discussion forum

I've been informed via Twitter about a new genealogy discussion forum being developed for the west of Scotland, called Glasgow Genes, which is available at http://wosgenealogy.boards.net.

The site is very embryonic, and is not yet live, but in time may build up to be a useful resource. If you have Glasgow connections, it might be worth keeping an eye on its development.

  1. Seems a good idea if you have Glasgow based ancestors. I haven't but I found the site a bit lacking in basic details.
What are the forum's Ts&Cs? Is there any membership fee? If you wanted to have someone do a search in the offline resources they mention, how much do they charge?
This kind of info should be available before you decide to register. Has anybody found this info once they have registered?
