This course describes the major sites, the types of information and data that they offer, the forms in which databases are presented and how to analyze results. PS: What it doesn't say is that we usually have some fun along the way also! Lessons are sent out at the beginning of each week, there is an interactive forum for use throughout by myself and students to discuss issues, and we also have an online chat once a week to go through key points etc.

Chris, how many hours per week commitment would the course be?
ReplyDeleteI would say it could be studied in an evening, but you could easily look at in sections through the week - it's not too heavy, though a few wee tasks to do and sites to look up and explore. What you can't get done through the week can be pursued at your own leisure at a later time, as you'll have the notes to keep long after the course is finished. Hope that helps!
