More on Irish heritage to be delisted

Further to my post on Thursday 15th about Ireland's proposals to delist heritage sites from after 1700 (see http://britishgenes.blogspot.com/2011/09/ireland-to-remove-heritage-protection.html), I have just received the following from Roger Lewry at the Federation of Family History Societies:

If you wish to have input to this (i.e. the proposals), I am advised that emails should be sent BEFORE TOMORROW (20 September) to:

1. Brian K. Duffy Chief Archaeologist National Monuments Service
Department of Arts, Heritage & the Gaeltacht Room G40, Custom House, Dublin
1 Tel. 01 8882103, email briank.duffy@ahg.gov.ie.

2. The Institute of Archaeologists of Ireland, send to info@iai.ie, attention Finola O’Carroll, chairperson.

3. The Minister is Jimmy Deenihan, jimmy.deenihan@oir.ie.

(With thanks to Roger)

Chris
