US geological survey maps go online

The United States Geological Survey has uploaded 90,000 out of 200,000 maps online at http://nationalmap.gov/historical/. The collection will be completed throughout the next year.

The University of Glasgow is blogging that its Maps, Official Publications and Statistics Unit is able to reproduce high-quality large-scale prints of the maps via www.gla.ac.uk/services/library/aboutthelibrary/departmentsandcollections/mapsofficialpublicationsandstatisticsunit/reproductionservice/, and that many of the maps are also available for consultation on Level 7 of the university library. I can't tell if that means they are partnered in some way with the US site however.
