An exhibition on the development of education in Norfolk over the last 200 years will open at Norfolk Record Office on Tuesday 20th September. The exhibition, Building an Education: Norfolk Rural Schools, 1850-1950, follows a two-year project to survey every surviving rural school in Norfolk built before 1950.
Items on display include architectural drawings, log-books, punishment books, accounts and school exercise books.
