ASDA wants to dig up the dead

ASDA supermarkets wishes to dig up an old burial ground in Greater Manchester in order to build a new store. The burial ground under threat is that of Swinton Unitarian Church, with the plan being for three hundred bodies to be reburied in another cemetery and a memorial plaque left behind instead. Some of the locals are very unimpressed, to say the least - the full story is at http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-manchester-17282546.
