JGSGB in a Box
Tracing your dead relatives among the Jewish Living
If you’re Jewish and planning to visit this weekend’s Jewish Living Expo at Wembley, be sure to catch JGSGB’s seminar ‘Where do I come from ~ tracing your family history’. Presented by Jeanette Rosenberg, it’s on Sunday 18th March at Wembley and is part of the free-of-charge Expert Workshops being held throughout the day in the Stadium’s corporate boxes. The JGSGB, one of 60 top specialists assembled to inspire, inform and entertain you will be in Corporate Box 3001, admission to which will be on a first-come-first-served basis. The JGSGB presentation will begin at 4-o-clock and will last for half an hour only, so don’t be late. Pay attention and, when you leave, you’ll be able to start tracing those elusive Jewish ancestors at last.
Jewish Living Expo is organised by the Jewish News to showcase fun, informative and interactive attractions and demonstrations to entertain the whole family. Hosted by media personalities, LBC radio presenter Nick Ferrari and Heart FM’s Harriet Scott, visitors will sample the sumptuous delights of kosher cuisine, enjoy live acts and fashion shows, and attend workshops and debates on a diverse range of engaging topics. There will be over 200 quality exhibitors offering advice on planning everything from simchas to holidays to interiors to education and more.
Apart from its star feature – the JGSGB seminar of course – other attractions will include the Shabbaton Choir, fashion and catwalk shows from designers Nigel Rayment, Gerry Weber and Ronen Chen, Magician Nick Einhorn, Dancing with Louise, Jewish Lads & Girls Brigade Band, the Israeli Dance Institute, and Moriah Jewish primary school choirs. Adult tickets (on the door) are £10 each.
(With thanks to James Taylor of the JGSGB)
