Belfast City Council burials database moves (again)

Belfast City Council has relocated its excellent burials database - yet again - to a new URL, this time in its Community section (don't ask!). You will now find it located at www.belfastcity.gov.uk/community/burialrecords/burialrecords.aspx#searchrecords - the search screen is directly accessible at https://ssl.belfastcity.gov.uk/burialsearch/. The site hosts records from Belfast City Cemetery, Roselawn Cemetery and Dundonald Cemetery.

If you have previously bookmarked www.belfastcity.gov.uk/burialrecords please note there is no redirect on that page - just the dreaded 'Not Found'.

It would be nice to have it stay put somewhere for a bit...!

My new book, Tracing Your Irish Family History on the Internet, is now available from Pen and Sword. My Scottish land and church records ebooks are available at http://www.gen-ebooks.com/unlock-the-past.html, whilst my next Pharos Scottish course, Scottish Research Online, starts Sep 4th - see http://pharostutors.com/details.php?coursenumber=102. Time to smash a few brick walls...!
