Your Family Tree magazine is now available to download to your smart phone or iPad from iTunes app store at http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/id452207756?mt=8&affId=1621074&ign-mpt=uo%3D6 . There are several subscription options - 3 months at £14.99, 6 months at £24.99 or a year at £44.99. The current issue, 109, is the first to go on sale through iTunes, and includes an article on the Highland Clearances by yours truly. From this month onwards, the datasets which previously appeared on a cover mounted CD are now being made available online from the YFT website at www.yourfamilytreemag.co.uk/2011/10/06/issue-109-downloads/. This month's offerings include records from Wells Cathedral, the history of Kingswood School in Bath, a parish magazine from Pitminster in Somerset (1897) and some Somerset poor law records from 1860. The collections do not appear to be password protected in any way.
