Advice from Birmingham Register Office

Some great advice from Birmingham Register Office when it comes to buying civil birth, marriage and death certificates in the UK - avoid the use of online suppliers when doing so, which can often rip you off for up to £60 at a time per certificate. In a newspaper story in the Birmingham Post, the office also discusses how it plans to create its version of a 'Book of Brum Connections' from the city's diaspora around the world. The full story is available at www.birminghampost.net/news/2013/02/15/birmingham-register-office-the-place-to-research-family-history-65233-32811208/
