Tracing Your Clare Ancestors book

I've been asked to give a quick plug for a new book from Flyleaf Press, Tracing Your Clare Ancestors. Here's the blurb:

Flyleaf has published a Guide to Tracing your Clare Ancestors
By Brian Smith & Gerry Kennedy
ISBN: 978-1-907990-05-2. 160 pp.; Softcover; 227 x 145 mm; indexed; b/w illustration.
Retail: Ireland €13 (including Airmail US$22; CAN$23; GB£13.90; AUD25 )

The county of Clare is famous for its music and scenery, including the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. The major families of the county include the O’Briens, McNamaras, McMahons and O’Loughlins. The county was badly affected by the Great Famine of 1845-50 during which 64,000 died or emigrated to many destinations throughout the world. This book sets out the availability of records to the family history researcher, where they can be obtained, and includes numerous illustrations.

More information is available at www.flyleaf.ie/book/view/834-Tracing%20your%20Clare%20Ancestors where you can also order a copy of the book.

(With thanks to Jim Ryan)
