Essex Police Museum

From the Federation of Family History Societies (www.ffhs.org.uk):

Essex Police Museum’s family history research facilities

We have a large number of archives and an online search facility to help those tracing their family history. Further information can be found on our website www.essex.police.uk/museum/.

The Essex Police Museum is a self-funded charity based in Chelmsford, Essex and we open every Saturday to the public 10am til 4pm, although the museum office is open Monday to Friday for enquiries and group bookings.

I hope this is of interest to you. If you wish to contact me further, my details are below.

My new book, Tracing Your Irish Family History on the Internet, is now available from Pen and Sword. My next Pharos Scottish course, Scotland 1750-1850: Beyond the Old Parish Registers, starts May 15th - see http://britishgenes.blogspot.co.uk/2013/04/scotland-1750-1850-beyond-oprs-starts.html. Time to smash a few brick walls...!
