Genealogist Emma Jolly has posted about the forthcoming opening of the English National Football Museum in Manchester next month on July 6th. The post can be read online at http://s168744828.websitehome.co.uk/2012/06/06/the-national-football-museum/. Emma describes what to expect at the museum - including an interesting People's Collection - and also some personal connections to footballers from the past. She also provides links to several websites that can help with football research.
There's a separate museum for Scotland at Hampden, with a website at www.scottishfootballmuseum.org.uk - I keep meaning to take my son Calum up, now inspired to do so! I don't think there's one for Northern Ireland, though, but happy to be corrected on that.
