Unlock the Past considers UK cruise

Australian based company Unlock the Past (www.unlockthepast.com.au) is planning a third genealogical themed cruise to Fiji for Feb 2013, but already has its eye on developments for 2014 and 2015. At present, for 2014 it is considering an Australian based venture, but for 2015, they are considering travelling just a wee bit further - and in our direction! The consideration for now is to try to arrange a venture from the UK to the Baltic and touching on northern Europe and Scandinavia. The organisers would like views from those who might be interested to attend by way of a short survey, which can be submitted via a link at www.unlockthepast.com.au/blog/6/2012/future-cruises-2014-and-2015.

In November of last year I had the great privilege to be a speaker on board the company's second cruise from New Zealand to Australia, on my second talks programme with the company. To summarise the proceedings, it was a packed conference and a superb holiday all rolled into one. For a flavour of what happened, read my previous posts:

The cruise was quite simply a wonderful experience, and I would thoroughly recommend joining one of the Unlock the Past ventures - particularly if one is coming to our own doorstep!

Keep an eye out for further developments...

Chris
