The Scottish Association of Family History Societies (SAFHS) conference in 2013 is to be held in the Borders, but I've just been told that plans are already underway for a special 25th anniversary conference to be held in 2014. The event is to be held on April 26th in Dunfermline, Fife, although the exact venue has as yet to be worked out. A working group to co-ordinate the event has been established, though the event is not going to be hosted by a specific family history society, but by SAFHS itself, with some participation by the English based Federation of Family History Societies.
(With thanks to Bruce Bishop)
UPDATE: SAFHS has an announcement at http://safhs.org.uk/conference.asp
