1872 Education Act and Gaelic conference

A one day conference entitled The Education (Scotland) Act 1872 – A watershed for the Gaelic language is to be hosted by Tasglann nan Eilean Siar (Hebridean Archives) at Balivanich Primary School on Benbecula, August 25th 2012, to commemorate the act's 140th anniversary.
