Christmas recordings from a century ago

This is interesting - a series of 24 wax cylinder recordings made by a family in London's Southgate area between 1902 and 1917, recently found at the National Museum of London, and including what is believed to be the first ever recording made of a Christmas family gathering.

The full story, along with some of the recordings, can be read and listened to at www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-20772246.
