Forces War Records clarifies its holdings

Thanks to Dominic Hayhoe at Forces War Records for letting me know that the site now has a collections list, allowing users to identify what exactly the site contains.

At present the site has several holdings, many of them unique to the site, now listed at www.forces-war-records.co.uk/Collections/List. A few collections I've not seen elsewhere include the British Jewry Book of Honour 1922, the Kaffir Wars Medal Roll, General Service Medal (1962), the Normandy Garrison Rolls (1415-1450) and Medieval Muster Rolls (1369-1453).

I've been told that the "next step will be to allow searching by collection alone and adding sources on to each record, which should come in the next few weeks". Very welcome developments indeed.

(With thanks to Dominic)
