Irish Lives Remembered - March issue available

The March 2013 issue of Irish Lives Remembered is now available online at http://irishlivesremembered.com/magazines.html - with lots of goodies this month.

For starters, there's a great cover, with a giant woman playing a harp the size of her local church, so I'm impressed! The highlight of the magazine for me though is that this month it goes on a Trip to Tipp, with Tipperary in the spotlight. Not only does my father-in-law's lot come from here, I recently found a connection myself to the county, with my three times great granny Teresa Mooney remarrying in Nenagh in 1866 a few months after my 3xgt gramps died in Bermuda. So lots to look at here.

Elsewhere, Jayne Shrimpton looks at historic photos from Cork, there's a feature on English and Welsh criminal records from FindmyPast (sourced from TNA), Fiona Fitzsimons looks at Irish Reproductive Loans funds for the industrious poor, there's a heraldry feature, a feature on Google Images, the East Kerry Roots Festival, tales of Saint Paddy's Day in Minnesota, and just oodles more (with a nice review of my new book also!).

And if that is not enough... there is also a 16 page supplement this issue from Ozzie based magazine Inside History, edited by Cassie Mercer, which looks at various Irish interests down under.

Here's the full run down from Eileen Munnelly, editor:

Our March edition is packed with 86 pages of family history resources and stories with a special 16 page Irish-Australian supplement courtesy of Inside History magazine in Australia.
