FamilySearch (www.familysearch.org) has added a new database entitled Isle of Man Deaths and Burials, 1844-1911, with some 42,389 records indexed. The site has the following blurb:
Index to selected Isle of Man deaths and burials. Only a few localities are included and the time period varies by locality. This collection contains 42,389 records. Due to privacy laws, recent records may not be displayed. The year range represents most of the records. A few records may be earlier or later.
A FamilySearch wiki page on the collection is available at https://familysearch.org/learn/wiki/en/Isle_of_Man_Deaths_and_Burials_(FamilySearch_Historical_Records)
The database itself can be searched at www.familysearch.org/search/collection/1708590
