Unlock the Past - 4th Genealogy Cruise, Australia

The 4th Unlock the Past History & Genealogy Cruise gets underway in Australia from February 4th-13th 2014, with yours truly as one of the speakers on board, joined also by Thomas MacEntee (US - technology and social media expert), Jill Ball (New South Wales), Linda Elliott (New Zealand - English expert), Jan Gow (New Zealand), Shauna Hicks (Queensland), Rosemary Kopittke (Queensland), Dr Noeline Kyle (New South Wales - writing history), Mike Murray (Western Australia), Lesley Silvester (Western Australia), Helen Smith (Queensland) and Neil Smith (Victoria - military expert). The full itinerary, which takes in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hobart (and Sydney once more) is available at www.unlockthepast.com.au/events/4th-unlock-past-history-genealogy-cruise.

I'm looking forward to catching up with some great folk and meeting many more for the first time! But here's the craic for now though - if you wish to book to join the cruise, sign up before March 15th and you will only need to pay a deposit of AU$200 (as opposed to AU$600). The full payment is due by November 1st 2013.

The company's third cruise has just finished, which I was not on, but I was on the second cruise in 2013 - see my report on this at http://scottishancestry.blogspot.co.uk/2011/12/unlock-pasts-2nd-genealogy-cruise.html to get an idea of what is all about, and the type of fun you're going to have if you come along next year for the next one!

Hopefully we'll see you there! :)
