Major news: Irish Catholic parish registers join Ancestry

Ancestry (www.ancestry.co.uk) has added a major series of collections of Roman Catholic records from parishes across Ireland. From that I can see, these are new collections available online, the source information noting that they have been obtained from "Dublin, Ireland: E-Celtic, Limited". * UPDATE: Thanks to Stuart McGee for the following correction re: Ancestry's text - "Just a small point but could be important to users of Ancestry; the list of parishes includes ‘Aughrim’ and they (Ancestry) say it is in Co Galway... However this parish is Church of the Holy Family, Aughrim Street which is in Dublin"
