From PRONI (www.proni.gov.uk) in Belfast:
“The Story of Belfast”
Temporary Exhibition at PRONI, in partnership with Belfast Civic Trust (from April 4th)
The Story of Belfast focuses on the development of Belfast from pre-Christian times until the present day. Visitors will be able to explore the history of this intriguing city, which transformed itself from a minor trading post into a Victorian centre of shipbuilding, engineering and textiles. Visitors will also learn of the factors that are once again changing Belfast into a noted European capital and tourist destination.
This exhibition shall provide an opportunity to explore the Belfast of yesteryear and could act as a source of inspiration for unlocking the story of your own locality.
