Immigrants to Canada, Porters and Domestics, 1899–1949

Library and Archives Canada have been busy, with yet another database released that may be of interest to those with emigrant ancestors.

The Immigrants to Canada, Porters and Domestics, 1899–1949 dataset is sourced from the Central Registry Files series of the Immigration Branch (RG76 BIA) at the archive, amongst other sources, and contains 8600 names.

The dataset is accessible at www.bac-lac.gc.ca/eng/discover/immigration/immigration-records/porters-domestics-1899-1949/Pages/search.aspx

(With thanks to the LAC blog)
